Built to be used
by everyone.
We want this website—and the websites we build—to work for people using keyboards, screen readers, magnification, reduced motion, and small screens. We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we’ve done
- Semantic HTML with one main heading per page, landmarks, and a skip-to-content link.
- Everything is usable with a keyboard, with visible focus in every colour theme.
- Forms use real labels and native controls. The pricing estimator uses standard radio buttons and checkboxes; selection is shown with a border and the control itself, not colour alone.
- Domain search results and the running estimate are announced to screen readers as they change, including loading and error states in plain language.
- Text and controls meet contrast requirements in the default theme, each accent theme, and dark mode.
- Motion is subtle, and all animation is turned off when your system asks for reduced motion.
- Text resizes and pages reflow without horizontal scrolling down to 320 pixels wide.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative ones, including the four characters, are hidden from assistive technology.
Known limitations
The three concept websites (Cedar & Stone, Northline, Solace) are design demonstrations and have not been reviewed as thoroughly as the main site. Domain prices from the registrar are shown as supplied and may not include a currency symbol you expect; we say which currency they are in.
