What we collect,
and why.
MINIMORPHIC is a small studio run by Zac Matthias in British Columbia. This page explains what happens to the information you give us on this website. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.
When you send an inquiry
The contact form asks for your name, email address, and a message, and optionally your business name, what you’re interested in, a referral code, and whether you’re a nonprofit. If you built an estimate on the pricing page and attached it, the form also sends that estimate: your choices about ongoing care, any extras you ticked, and any domain name you entered or selected.
The form is delivered by FormSubmit, a third-party service, to our email inbox. FormSubmit may show you an anti-spam check and processes the submission under its own privacy terms. We use what you send to reply, to understand the project, and to prepare a quote. We don’t add you to a mailing list.
We keep inquiry emails for as long as we need them to respond and to manage any project that follows. You can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time.
When you search for a domain
The domain search on the pricing page sends the name you type to our server, which asks our domain provider whether it is available and what it costs. The searched text is processed by that provider to answer the request, and requests to our server may appear in ordinary hosting logs (including your IP address and the time of the request). We don’t save your searches to a database or link them to you.
Please don’t type personal information into the domain search. It is meant for business names.
Searching for or selecting a domain does not reserve or purchase it, and nothing is sent to us until you submit the inquiry form.
When you build an estimate
Your estimate choices are kept in your browser’s session storage so they can travel to the contact form without being re-entered. They are cleared when you close the tab, when you remove the estimate from the form, or after you send it. Nothing about your estimate reaches us until you submit the form.
Appearance preferences
If you choose an accent colour or light/dark appearance, that choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site looks the same next time. This is a functional preference, not tracking; it is never sent to us and there is no advertising or analytics behind it.
Hosting and logs
This website is served by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel may record standard request information—such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time—in order to deliver the site and keep it secure. We don’t run analytics or advertising scripts on this site, and there is no cookie banner because we don’t set tracking cookies.
Concept websites
The Cedar & Stone, Northline, and Solace pages are design concepts. Their forms are demonstrations: nothing you type into them is sent or stored.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information you have sent us by emailing zacmatthiass@gmail.com. If we change how this website handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
